Welcome to History Forum On this site you will find summaries for lecture material for HIS202: U.S. History Since 1877. I hope that you will find this site to be a helpful study resource. Any feedback from my students is welcome and appreciated.
However, I must emphasize that this site is not meant to serve as a substitute for class attendance/participation and reading the text assignments. Not everything in the book will be covered here and not everything covered here is in the book but it is all fair game come test time.
I have not completed a summary for the lecture on US Cold War policy (Truman Doctrine, Brinkmanship, Korean War, etc.) but there are summaries up for the Civil Rights information we've covered and US foreign affairs (Cuba, Berlin, Vietnam).
